The Nail & Beauty Garden,
Southsea
A very warm welcome to the Nail & Beauty Garden, based in Studio B Collective, Osborne Road in Southsea. Studio B was curated as a safe and inclusive space for self employed professionals to work from. Somewhere warm and inviting to welcome our clients - we hope you love it as much as we do.
Whether you're looking for a one-off treatment for a holiday, wedding, maybe a pick-me-up treat, or you have long term beauty or wellness goals, I can help you. All treatments are available for those who need it.
With first class service, attention to detail and definitely not a "one size fits all" way of working you'll see why so many clients remain loyal for years.
I really look forward to seeing you soon. Sarah
About Me
My nail and beauty journey began in 2000 and over the years I've worked in England, Spain and Ireland. Since my initial training I have continued to update my skills and knowledge to ensure that every client has an individual service tailored to their needs and lifestyle.
Recently I've been looking for a new direction, both personally and professionally. My favourite part of my salon career has always been making people feel better. When someone sits in front of me with the weight of the world on their shoulders, and by the end of the hour or so, having shared their worries (maybe had a little cry) in a non-judgemental environment, they leave a totally different and uplifted person - that brings me the most joy .
In June 2024, I was fortunate enough to attend the "Soothe Your Soul" retreat at Dragonfly House in Andalusia, run by Southsea's Yoga Guru Maxine Bailey. It ignited a fire within! We all live such busy, stressful lives, often reaching emotional. mental or physical burnout; we just don't invest in our personal well-being as we should do. Light bulb moment warning!! What we all need is to escape the real world from time to time, and one of the ways to achieve that is via holistic experiences. They really help you to recharge and reset through carefully chosen therapies, massage oils and mindfulness. I'm on a personal discovery too, learning the Ayurvedic principles, it's fascinating stuff. A FIVE THOUSAND YEAR OLD whole-body healing system balancing mind, body and spirit.
Whilst we don't expect to cure all your problems in a one hour treatment, taking a little time out helps you to just pause for a moment, escape the 21st Century stress for a while, and just breathe. I can't wait to see you and share this part of my new chapter with you. Sarah
